A New Mexico school district has just received a $500,000 boost for its students.

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation awarded the grant to the Farmington Municipal School District.

The grant will fund training for teachers at two elementary schools tasked with assisting students who struggle with reading.

The grant will support the project for the next two years.
