University of New Mexico's Deshawn Delaney is questionable for Wednesday's game at Boise State because of a toe injury.
Delaney suffered the injury in UNM's last game against Wyoming and hasn't practiced since their overtime win. If Delaney does not practice on Tuesday, he will not play Wednesday against the Broncos.
"I'm going into it thinking he's going to play," said UNM head coach Craig Neal. The first year head coach added he won't make a decision on who would start in his place until after Tuesday's practice. "I don't know what we'd do," said Neal.
"I'm sure we have enough guys on our bench to recover. We won two games on the road without the best center in the league (Alex Kirk). So it's not like we've haven't been able to win games without a starter."
