New Mexico is known around the world for green chile. It's an industry that brings in a lot of money every year. But after Bueno Foods announced Tuesday they were recalling some of their own frozen green chile, it had some local businesses worried people will stop buying green chile all together.

For much of Francesca Kay's life, it's been all about the chile. The name of her shop says it call - Chile Addict.

Green is definitely the most popular. 70% of what's sold are green chile products. "We have people from all over the world come during balloon fiesta to the Chile Addict and take chile with them, and we take chile all over the place," said Francesca Kay.

Kay admits she got a little worried when she heard of Bueno Foods' recall. "When people just hear green chile, they automatically think all green chile," added Kay.

The New Mexico Chile Association told KOB Eyewitness News 4 the recall has the potential of possibly affecting the entire industry.
