A Monday afternoon car chase in Belen ended up being a big break for police working on another case.

Aaron Wozniak was arrested after Monday's car chase.

He's a person-of-interest in a January chase that put Corrales police officer Jeremy Romero in the hospital.

Not only did cops arrest Wozniak this afternoon, they also arrested Casey Williams.

Williams just got out of jail on Friday in connection with a chase and crash that seriously injured Corrales officer Jeremy Romero.

Cops think Williams was with Wozniak that day, but he's been on the run all this time.

Now they're both in jail.

Valencia County deputies got a two-for-one in Belen when they arrested Wozniak and Williams together.

The sheriff's office says they ran from cops in a stolen car.

Three weeks ago, cops in Corrales say the pair went on a similar crime spree.

Investigators suspect the same pair led Corrales police officer Jeremy Romero on another high speed chase in a stolen car.

That chase ended in a bad crash that badly injured Romero.

Wozniak and Williams are both held on multiple felony charges related to both chases.
