A new phase of construction on the I-25/Paseo Del Norte Exchange project could throw a wrench into the Monday morning commute.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation says drivers should give themselves about a week to get used the changes at Jefferson and Paseo.
There will still be two lanes of traffic open in each direction, but traffic will be shifted to the north side of the roadway so that crews can work on the permanent eastbound lanes.
To avoid the area altogether, take Alameda if you're headed north, Osuna if heading South, Edith if going west and San Pedro to the east.
