Aggies punch ticket to dance with WAC tournament win

The New Mexico State men’s basketball team is heading back to the NCAA tournament.

The Aggies (26-9) beat Idaho 77-55 on Saturday to win its third-straight Western Athletic Conference tournament title.

Daniel Mullings lead the Aggies with 18 points.

Four Aggies finished in double figures. 

New Mexico State shot 56 percent from the field and hit 10 of its first 15 shots.

This will be the Aggies fourth appearance in the tournament under head coach Marvin Menzies.
