Workers at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant near Carlsbad are allowed to return underground.

It has been more than a month since a radiation leak contaminated at least 17 workers.

The Nuclear Waste Partnership says instruments lowered underground showed no radiation leakage.

A team of eight people will head underground as early as Sunday.

They plan to get to the spot of the leak.

For more information, you can attend a community meeting scheduled for April 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carlsbad city council chambers.
