4-time PGA Tour winner Notah Begay will headline the Rio Grande charity Slam, a star-studded golf event to benefit the NB3 Foundation and the Jewish Community Center.

The event will raise money to support the Notah Begay III Foundation and JCC and their efforts to promote physical activity, along with health and wellness.  Begay has been progressive in helping fight Type II diabetes and childhood obesity.

Begay says former Lobo and Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher will take part in the June 27th event at the Santa Ana Golf Club.  PGa Tour golfers Mike Weir and Tim Herron are also scheduled to attend.  Begay says he has reached out to NBC lead golf analyst Johnny Miller to also participate in the event.

Begay will host a free golf instructional clinic for youth golfers on Thursday June 26th.  The golf clinic will be open to approximately 150 young golfers.
