Protestors made it clear they wanted no violence as they hit the streets again Friday.

They continue to ask for justice in the deadly police shooting of a mentally-ill homeless man.

What was seen Friday was probably what protestors had in mind last weekend when they first started demonstrating in Civic Plaza before things got out of hand.

Derrick Lamebull wore his gas mask today to make a point: What happened last Sunday doesn't need to happen again.

This time, protestors stuck to the sidewalks and cried out or justice, for James Boyd, whose friends called him "Abba".

Then, just as suddenly, just before 9 p.m., things changed.

AQ small group encouraged the protestors to choose violence over peace, one of them even shoving a member of KOB Eyewitness News 4's crew.

But this time, peace and the peaceful prevailed.
