Easter Sunday, as many know, is one of the most sacred of holidays for Christians.

Viewers called KOB Eyewitness News 4 to let us know that someone shot an arrow into a billboard depicting the face of Jesus.

The giant billboard is sponspored by the Roman Catholic Churches of San Juan County.

It is set up right outside an adult bookstore in Farmington, and warns “Jesus is watching you.”

On Easter Sunday of all days, folks passing by no doubt noticed something different about the display.

An arrow was stuck right between the eyes of the picture of Jesus.

The Farmington Police Department tells KOB that they are investigating the incident.

Farmington Fire quickly came by to remove the arrow from the billboard.

KOB reached out to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Mexico and have not heard back yet.

KOB was told by police that if anyone is caught in connection, it would amount to a misdemeanor Vandalism charge.
