A man claiming to be the husband of the 19-year-old woman shot by APD Monday morning showed up to a small candlelight vigil at the scene around 9 p.m. Monday night.

He displayed what appeared to be an assault weapon and the vigil quickly dispersed.

That man's alleged wife was caught on surveillance footage from a car wash nearby the scene of the officer-involved shooting early Monday morning.

KOB Eyewitness News 4 has obtained the surveillance video showing the 19-year-old female shot by APD just about 20 minutes before she was killed.

In the video, the woman runs through one of the car wash bays at the Brillion Brothers Car Wash at Wyoming and Zuni, across the back parking lot of the business, and is then seen from another angle being cut off by an APD unit in pursuit.

The surveillance video was taken at about 5:21 a.m. Monday, and an APD spokeswoman tells KOB the 19-year-old woman was shot at approximately 5:50 a.m.
