Could New Mexico be one of the two states considered for a new Tesla Motors battery plant?

Tesla CEO Elon Musk told Bloomberg he wants to break ground in at least two different states in order to avoid any delays in supplying batteries.

The electric car company previously announced it was considering New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and Texas. At this time, it's not clear which two states are being considered.

Around 6,500 jobs will come with the new plant.
