With some snow early Tuesday morning, conditions for high school golf were not ideal, but the sun eventually poked through for the final round the state championships.

In class 4A, Academy's Ben Albin was the golfer to beat. He finished birdie-birdie and won the individual top honor, as well as helping his Academy squad take the team title.

On the girls' side, Deming was dominant once again. The wildcats won their sixth straight state title and junior Darian Zachek took top honors for the second straight year.

In 5A, La Cueva girls ran away with the trophy. Cleveland's Dominique Galloway was a two-shot individual winner. The Cleveland boys are the 5A champ.

For the smaller schools, the Bosque girls beat Socorro on a playoff. Hope's Sean Carlon and the Huskies were both winners on the boys' side.
