(NBC News) -- More than a dozen health care workers in Orlando, Florida have been told to stay home and monitor their health for two weeks.
The workers had been in contact with the second patient in the United States confirmed to have Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, or MERS.

The MERS patient is doing well but remains hospitalized. Doctors say the man is a health care worker from Saudi Arabia and was in Orlando visiting family.
