The Farmington community is praying for a 7-year-old boy who was seriously injured in a suspected drunk driving crash on Mother's Day.

Around 200 people showed up to a candlelight prayer vigil held Wednesday night for Ethan Murray. He remains hospitalized at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque.

"We have to have a way to deal with the emotions we all feel, and we feel helpless. And this is an action that we can come together and show our love and support for our precious boy," said Kelley Calder, Ethan's aunt.

The man suspected of driving under the influence when he hit Ethan and his family is back behind bars. Mihdi Bathke is being held on a $150,000 cash-only bond.
