Hugh Greenwood helping his mom fight cancer... again

University of New Mexico point guard Hugh Greenwood returned home to Australia this summer to find out his mother's cancer has returned.  Andree has battled breast cancer once already and won.  Hugh is hoping for another victory for his mom.

Back in October, Hugh announced he would not cut his hair for the next year and then shave his head in the fall of 2014 to help support Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Greenwood also has a pink ribbon tattooed on his wrist as a reminder of the fight his mom faces.

On his Twitter account, Hugh posted "Mums is a strong woman and has battled and has beaten it once before, which means we have complete confidence she will take care of it again."

Hugh says he hopes to have a donation website later this month to help raise money for cancer research.
