Bigger things could be on the horizon for Spaceport America.

A major company is reportedly working on a deal to buy a stake in Virgin Galactic.

According to Britain's Sky News, Google wants to invest 30 million dollars in Virgin Galactic.

It's a deal that would let Google use Virgin's satellite-launch technology.

The proposed deal may be part of Google's effort to connect remote parts of the world to the internet.

The report comes about three months after Google agreed to buy Moriarty-based Titan Aerospace.

That company makes solar powered drones that could stay airborne for years.
