FBI seeks suspect in Compass bank robbery

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for a man who robbed the Compass Bank on San Pedro near Lomas, Friday.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s or 30s. The suspect is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He wore a black and white bandana on his face, a black hoodie, and blue jeans.

Witnesses say the suspect walked into the bank around 9:18 a.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money from a teller. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who then left the bank.

Anyone with information about this bank robbery is asked to call the Albuquerque FBI Office at (505) 889-1300 or Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at (505) 843-STOP.
