Two Albuquerque parents face serious charges after police say one of their three children ingested methamphetamines.

Denise Clark and James Benson were both in court Sunday.

Officers say a tip led them to check out the couple's home. When they arrived to the residence, the officers said both the home and children were filthy.

Three children were taken to the hospital, where staff reportedly determined a toddler younger than 2-years-old had meth in her system.

Both Clark and Benson are facing child abuse charges.
