Deputies say no threat was found after a daycare in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque received a call about a bomb from an unknown person on Wednesday.

Around 10:30 a.m., the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office received reports about a possible explosive device inside La Escuelita Daycare, located at 333 Osuna NW.

Deputies were told that someone called in the threat and then hung up.

The daycare was evacuated and all the children and staff are reported safe.

Osuna Road was closed between 2nd and 4th Street on Wednesday afternoon. BCSO says the road has reopened but the investigation is ongoing.
