Albuquerque police have identified a man killed in an officer-involved shooting at Eubank and Central on Tuesday afternoon.

According to APD, two officers were involved and an armed suspect, identified as 33-year-old Jeremy Robertson, was shot and killed after two shots were fired.

APD says they were working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to serve a warrant on Robertson, who they said was dangerous and actively committing crimes.

When officers approached Robertson, police said he ran off and pulled a gun from his waistband. He ran through the Valero parking lot and into an alley past several businesses.

Police are interviewing the officers involved. No further information is available at this time.
