Crews spent all morning drying off the field at Isotopes Park after Friday night's downpour. And KOB's crews actually helped them out.

Isotopes manager John Traub called our station this morning asking us to send Chopper 4. They hoped to use the chopper as a massive fan to help dry off the dirt and the grass before tonight's game.

Traub says the grounds keeping crews estimate 14,000 to 20,000 gallons of water were pumped out of both the dugouts and the field Saturday.

"So just an incredible amount of water that came here overnight, we asked for whatever help we can get to help us out and it's been terrific. We've had a great effort from the city, AFD, obviously Channel 4 stepped up, and our own staff has been out here. So, it's absolutely been a collaborative effort," said Traub.

Saturday's game is expected to start at 7:05 p.m.
