High School football practice is underway around the state of New Mexico.

Eldorado’s Zach Gentry is the top player in this year’s class.  Gentry committed to play for the University of Texas in 2015. He continues to work on his game for his senior season.

"Yeah definitely, everyday my footwork and my speed,” said Gentry about what he hopes to improve.  “Staying in the pocket and keeping my eyes downfield and reading the defenses.  It feels like just yesterday I was a freshman.  It's gone by real fast.  It's been a good time."
