The man accused of shooting a 13-year-old boy in 2012 was found not guilty on all charges Thursday.

Michael Zamora says he accidentally shot and injured the teen at his home 2 years ago. Zamora thought the boy was breaking into his truck.

In the original lawsuit the boy alleged the shooting was an accident. The teen says he didn’t realize he was shot until later, when Zamora brought him into his home and called police.

Zamora's defense says the boy's story about what happened that night keeps changing.

The boy told police he had snuck out of his home early that morning with friends. He initially said he was walking the friend's home and later said he was walking to the park.

The teen insists he was not trying to get into the truck.

The verdict cleared Zamora on kidnapping, aggravated battery, and child abuse charges.
