New Mexico State Police say a man suffered minor injuries after jumping in front of a Rail Runner train on Friday.

According to Rail Runner spokesperson Augusta Meyers, a man was on the tracks, stopping the train. When he walked away, the train continued to head south from Santa Fe. The man then ran onto the tracks in front of the train.

NMSP say the man was suicidal and was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
