The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed UNM's former center Alex Kirk.
In July, Kirk was headed to Cleveland to take part in the Cavaliers' summer camp.
The former Lobo could have stayed another year at New Mexico, but he opted out and entered the NBA draft.
Kirk went undrafted but did sign a free agent deal with the Cavaliers.
According to the news release, Kirk averaged 10.0 points on .488 shooting, 6.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 25.3 minutes per game over his collegiate career, where he was also a two-time All-MWC Defensive Team selection.
At the NBA summer league in Las Vegas, Kirk played five games and averaged 5.2 points on .524 shooting and 3.4 rebounds in 15.4 minutes per game.
