ALBUQUERQUE -- It is late in the recruiting season but the Lobos are hoping they can reach their scholarship limit by adding Sam Logwood.

Logwood is a 6'7" freshman from Indiana who averaged over 17-points a game last season. He originally committed to Auburn, but changed his mind.

He would join a recruiting class that is six players strong.

"Somewhere I'll feel comfortable first off and just building a relationship with the coach's staff and somewhere I'll play a freshman and make a big impact," Logwood said.

New Lobo assistant Alan Huss coached Logwood as a high school player in Indiana.

"That's the big part, the hiring of Coach Huss," Logwood said. "I'm comfortable with him, I trust him. I feel like he has the best interest for me, so that's also a plus."

Logwood says he is also considering Oregon, Providence, Tulsa and Tennessee.
