An Albuquerque couple getting married Friday had almost everything they needed for their wedding stolen in an RV this week.
Chris Henderson and his bride-to-be Rennae Shaw packed all the food and camping supplies they needed for the Jemez Mountain wedding into the RV Tuesday night.
Even their wedding bands were inside the RV. It was parked right in front of the family home, and was stolen that night.
Rennae's mother was forced to start over after months of preparing. Rennae's godmother stepped in to loan the couple her parent's wedding bands as their "something borrowed." And the bride luckily still has her wedding dress.
"I'm still going to be marrying my best friend, and I'm going to be in the mountains where I love to be. So as long as I've got my family and I've got him, I don't need anything else in this world," Rennae said.
Fortunately, the couple had their wedding bands insured so they will be replaced. The RV was stolen from the home near Candelaria and Eubank. If you have any information, call 242-COPS or Crime Stoppers at 843-STOP.
