USA Today ranks New Mexico Tech engineering program as 8th-best nationally

USA Today ranked New Mexico Tech as the 8th-best engineering program in the country in a list released this week.

The list comes from College Factual and is a ranking of colleges based on their overall quality.

The top ten engineering programs listed in the article are as follows:

1. Colorado School of Mines

2. Georgia Tech

3. Missouri University of Science and Technology

4. Massachusetts Institute of Technology

5. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (N.Y.)

6. Worcester Polytechnic Institute (Mass.)

7. Stevens Institute (N.J.)

8. New Mexico Tech

9. University of Michigan

10. Illinois Institute of Technology
