The New Mexico Activities Association launched a new sportsmanship campaign and wanted a memorable and catchy slogan to go along with it.

"Compete with Class" is the slogan they settled on; they say they want to reinforce the values of respect, integrity and responsibility.

"What we want to do is highlight the great acts of sportsmanship, whether that's a kid picking up another kid during a game, whether that's spectators cheering on the opponent," said Dusty Young, NMAA Associate Director.

"Whatever that may be, we want to do whatever we can to try and highlight those acts and recognize the good things that are happening across our state."

The goal is fair play and friendly competition while building life skills as young adults.
