A Santa Fe motorcyclist who died in an accident at Cerrillos Rd. and Camino Carlos Rey Saturday has been identified as 22-year-old Josiah Sandoval.

Santa Fe police say a 72-year-old man was turning left from Cerrillos onto Camino Carlos Rey when the motorcyclist, who was headed northbound, hit the man's car.

Witnesses allegedly told police Sandoval was speeding and driving erratically before the crash. Police said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors to the crash.
