A Colorado woman proved the dangers of texting while driving.

Christina Jahnz says she was driving in Elizabeth Colo., when she tried sending voice text in the parking lot of her child's school. However, in just a split second she crashed into a guardrail pole.

The pole went through the front light of her truck, piercing her in the buttocks and continuing through the back of her seat.

Jahnz was rushed to a nearby hospital where she underwent emergency surgery.

After a four day stay in the hospital, Jahnz was released late Sunday night. She will be walking with the help of a walker and doctors expect her to make a full recovery.
