Gadi also regularly breaks many important political stories in the Capital City including questionable hiring practices in state agencies, raises for certain state employees while others faced furloughs, and uncovering scandal after scandal at the Secretary of State's office throughout 2010.
Gadi is the recipient of Associated Press awards including Best General News, Best Editing and Feature News. He was also awarded best spot news by the National Press Photographers Association.
Gadi was born in Guatemala City. His family moved to Belen at age three and then to Albuquerque when he turned seven. Gadi attended Cibola High School and is a New Mexico State University graduate. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Government and Journalism with a minor in International Relations.
Gadi loves the outdoors and on the weekends you can find him snowboarding in the Sangre de Cristos, rock climbing near Diablo Canyon or with his wife paddling in Northern New Mexico's whitewater in his kayak or raft.
