He was Sheriff of Lincoln County during the Lincoln County War, and was shot and killed by Billy the Kid during an ambush in 1878.
Nicole's dad grew up in Alamogordo and Hondo. Her parents met while attending the University of New Mexico. Nicole has relatives from Roswell to Gallup and Alamogordo to Espanola.
While Nicole grew up outside of Denver, and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder, she and her husband are proud to call New Mexico home.
Nicole and her husband Brian divide their free time between New Mexico's gorgeous outdoors, and their comfortable couch and television.
