Antoinette Antonio

Antoinette Antonio anchors the weekend editions of Eyewitness News 4 at 5, 6 and 10 and reports during the week.

Antoinette joined the Eyewitness News 4 team in December of 2005 as a general assignment reporter after working in Midland/Odessa, Texas.  In addition to anchoring the morning news at KWES-TV, Antoinette was also a general assignment reporter.  During her time in Midland/Odessa, the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters (TAPB) honored Antoinette and her co-anchor as the #1 News Anchor Team.  Antoinette also received second place for Best Reporter in Texas.

Antoinette’s first reporting gig was for Channel 3 News in Garden Grove, California.  After some months of reporting, she became one of the show’s co-anchors.  Antoinette started her broadcasting career interning for NBC 4 in Burbank, California and for UPN 13 News in Hollywood, California.  She is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association.

Antoinette graduated from the University of California, Irvine, in 2002 with degrees in English and International Studies.  She spent a semester studying abroad in Spain her senior year.

Antoinette was born and raised in Orange County, California.  A self-proclaimed daddy’s girl, she enjoys running up her phone bill talking to family back home.  In her spare time she also likes to read, travel, snowboard, shop, hang out with her cat Pedro, explore the great restaurants around Albuquerque, cook and, of course, eat.
