A school bus and a city vehicle are the latest vehicles to be caught speeding as Eyewitness News 4 takes to the streets with a radar gun.
Eyewitness News 4 visited two Albuquerque streets with a radar gun to find out if drivers are obeying the law.
For about 15 minutes, Eyewitness News 4's speedbuster's team clocked driver after driver breaking the 25 mile-per-hour limit at Irving and Paseo del Norte in northwest Albuquerque..
Almost every driver clocked was going nearly ten miles-per-hour over the speed limit. During the test, about ten drivers were clocked going over 20 miles-per-hour over the speed limit.
Denise Dumas, who lives in the area, says driving down her street is often aggravating.
"I'm trying to go the speed limit and I'm getting tailgated," she said.
When the speedbuster's team staked out Atrisco Drive, they found many drivers, once again, ignoring the speed limit.
A vehicle registered to the City of Albuquerque was even clocked going 45 miles-per-hour in a 35 mile-per-hour zone. A school bus was also clocked going seven miles-per-hour over the speed limit.
After about 15 minutes at Atrisco Drive, the speedbuster's team says about 80 percent of drivers were speeding.
