Fugitive of the Week: Willie Ortiz

The United States Marshals Service is currently seeking Willie Ortiz, based on an arrest warrant issued by the United States District Court of New Mexico on August 4, 2008. The warrant charges Ortiz with a violation of his supervised release.
Ortiz was scheduled to self-surrender to the Federal Bureau of Prison on August 4, 2008 to begin serving a five-year sentence. His exact whereabouts are unknown; however, Ortiz has addresses listed in Albuquerque, NM.
The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) arrested Ortiz on October 10, 2007 for Possession with the intent to distribute large quantities of cocaine.
Ortiz is described as a 28-year-old Hispanic male, 5’05”, 380 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. Ortiz has many tattoos: both arms are completely sleeved with tattoos of a cactus and the Virgin Mary. Ortiz is also known to wear glasses. Ortiz has been recently seen in a black GMC Denali, which says “Stuntin’ like my Daddy” on the back window. Ortiz has a lengthy criminal history including- numerous drug offenses, child endangerment, child abuse, possession of firearms, and receiving transferring stolen vehicles. Based on this information he is considered dangerous and a violent offender.
