Bella Gonzales was seen free on bond Monday afternoon in downtown Albuquerque

A woman charged in connection with the murder of an Albuquerque school teacher is back on the streets Monday after posting bond.

Bella Gonzales was freed in downtown Albuquerque Monday afternoon after her bond was reduced from $1 million to $300,000.

She is accused of stashing the body of Chelwood Elementary School teacher Ellen Roth in her apartment until it could be buried in the Jemez Mountains.

Police say a trio of suspects, including the teacher's own daughter-in-law, Cathleen Nielson Roth, murdered the woman in her garage. Officers say they were getting revenge because Roth had her son, Brian, arrested for theft.

Brian Roth has not been charged with murder. The other three are still behind bars, according to jail records.
