In an interview with the Daily Lobo, former UNM assistant coach J.B. Gerald says the University and head coach Mike Locksley can expect a lawsuit stemming from his physical altercation with Locksley.
The NMSU men’s basketball team beat Western New Mexico in an exhibition game, 111-83. Three Aggies finished with 21 pts (Rahman, Gibson, Watson). NMSU head coach Marvin Menzies added former Manzano standout Mike Clay to his staff as video coordinator.
Former Artesia standout Landry Jones is the Co-Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week. The Oklahoma quarterback threw four touchdown passes against Kansas State.
