Crisis center for children goes statewide

A crisis center for children is going is going statewide thanks to a state grant.

The Family Pride Foundation says thousands of kids all across New Mexico are abused or neglected each year.

The center offers care for children for up to three days if their parents or guardians feel they may be in a dangerous situation.

The center says its primary focus is to prevent abuse and neglect.

The center provides its services free of charge.
