Winter weather has affected parts of New Mexico, causing a handful of closings in Northern New Mexico on Friday and some early-morning flight cancellations at the Albuquerque Sunport.
Chinle Unified Schools are closed, and the Santa Fe Preparatory School and the Santa Fe Secondary School are both on a two-hour delay. Reports of closings and delays are still coming in, so make sure and check our closings page.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation is reporting difficult driving conditions on several state highways because of the winter weather. U.S. 64, and New Mexico State Highways 38 and 434 are snow packed and icy.
Crews are out plowing the roads and laying down sand and cinders. Check current traffic conditions here.
At the Sunport, some early flights to Denver are delayed or cancelled, and other delays are being announced. Check our airport delay page here.
