Some people say they are spending more on their Super Bowl XLVI party than previous years.

Corn prices are up about 39 percent and chicken wings are at an all time high at about $1.76 a pound.

Some shoppers we spoke with who were stocking up on snacks said they are feeling the pinch at the checkout counter.

"We've had to cut back on certain things that we typically would have, that way we can still look like we have a lot of food but still have money in our bank account," said shopper Greg Vehar.

Beer is only up about 6 percent in four years.

Super Bowl XLVI is said to be the second biggest food holiday behind Thanksgiving.
