Riders of the Rail Runner Express train will see some changes coming up.
Some passengers at the stop near the Kewa Pueblo, formely Santo Domingo Pueblo, say they are arriving late to work and missing peak hours to do business in Santa Fe because the Express train does not stop there.
"We lost out on maybe like a good $100 or $150 worth of sales because that's when we get to make our money when we go jewelry selling," jewelry salesman Edgar Benavidez said.
Their complaints went to the Kewa Pueblo Governor, who took the issue to the Mid-Region Council of Governments.
They have decided to add the Kewa stop back on the Express schedule.
"They talked to the Governor, the Governor came to us and that was just something we felt that we could do," Augusta Meyers with the Mid-Region Council of Governments said.
Meyers said it will take 3 to 4 weeks to get it going because they also need to adjust the shuttle bus schedule to work with a new train schedule.
