Gov. Susana Martinez will announce new "A" through "F" grades for all New Mexico schools later Monday.

KOB Eyewitness News 4 will be with the governor in Edgewood when she releases the grades.

Under Gov. Martinez, the state's Department of Education scrapped the old "Annual Yearly Progress" form of measurement in favor of letter grades, saying they would be easier for everyone to understand.

The department released preliminary grades for schools back in December.

Check back with us as we bring you the news from the governor's announcement in our later newscasts Monday.
