State police name shooting suspect on the run near Dulce

New Mexico State Police and the FBI are still searching the Dulce area in northern New Mexico for a man they believe is armed and dangerous.
Police say they are searching for Rex Michael Sherwood, who they believe shot at Jicarilla Tribal Police after a traffic stop on Tuesday.
Sherwood then abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot into the mountains east of Dulce.He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, a blue jacket and a baseball cap.
NM 64 remains closed between Dulce and the intersection of US 84 as the search continues.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
