Albuquerque's Chick-fil-A restaurants were quiet Friday, a stark change from Wednesday when hundreds of people showed up to support CEO Dan Cathy's views on traditional marriage.
Same sex couples did show up Friday - ready to kiss - as a protest.
There was question as to whether protestors, who were gathering out in front of the San Mateo and Montgomery Chick-fil-A, would go inside.
Though things were quieter, Albuquerque Police told KOB Eyewitness News 4 that they would be keeping an eye on all the restaurants throughout the day, and would only get involved if things got out of hand.
On Wednesday, all three Albuquerque locations were jam packed with supporters and protestors.
Chick-fil-A said it was a record sales day nationwide.
The group at the fast food chain Friday may not have been as large, but it was as passionate.
