The final space shuttle flight has landed.
Space Shuttle Endeavour, strapped to a NASA 747 transport, flew in low over several landmarks before landing at Los Angeles International Airport Friday afternoon.
In a few weeks it will be moved on the ground to the California Science Center, a 12 mile trip that may be its most criticized journey.
Cutting a path for the massive 8-foot wide spacecraft means losing at least 400 trees.
Officials with the Science Center say it's the only option.
Dismantling the ship or airlifting it in won't work, and the museum has promised to plant twice as many trees as it cuts down.
Endeavour is scheduled to make the drive the Science Center during a parade on October 12th.
