A popular Santa Fe restaurant will have to stop serving alcohol for a few days later this month for an incident that happened two years ago.
Our news partners at the Santa Fe New Mexican say The Cowgirl was cited after two women had drinks at the bar and then got into a head-on crash on I-25.
The driver, died after she hit an ambulance at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.
A hearing was held in May of last year, where the state's Alcohol and Gaming Division ruled the bar won't be able to sell liquor from Oct. 22 to Oct. 25.
