Saturday's Balloon Fiesta mass ascension canceled due to weather

Thousands of visitors made their way to Balloon Fiesta Park to celebrate the 2012 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

However, they left dissapointed when weather caused the hot air balloon mass ascension to be canceled today. 

Weather conditions at the park were windy all morning, KOB 4 meteorologist Steve Stucker said. 

Right now, tonight's events are still scheduled to take place, but weather will have to cooperate.
