South Valley shooting leaves one dead, another in hospital

The Bernalillo County Sheriff said one man died and another was sent to the hospital after a Monday morning shooting in the South Valley.
Officers found the first victim with multiple gunshot wounds a few blocks east of Isleta and Arenal. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second individual was shot in the hip and actually led police to the first victim, sheriff officials said. He is expected to recover.
The two men who were shot are described as middle-aged and Hispanic.
BCSO is investigating whether or not the man who took a bullet in the hip fatally shot the other individual.
